_Mr Knightly is throwing a garden party at Donwell Abbey! He has invited all the local gentry — the Woodhouses, the Westons, Reverend Elton, even poor Jane Fairfax — to attend and pick strawberries in the sun._

_Jane Austen’s "Emma_" is a gentle and reserved romantic comedy larp for 8-11 players (6F, 5M). It is adapted from the Jane Austen novel of the same name. Very basic familiarity with the plot and characters is useful for the players, but not essential, and the ultimate outcome will be up to the players. Expected play time is two hours.

While this larp is an adaptation of an existing story, the fates of the characters are not fixed. The setup is the same, but the characters have choices, and it is perfectly possible for them to make different choices from those made in the novel. Maybe they will, maybe they won't — it really is up to the players.
