Hi,
I like to search gmless-games for at least 3 people. No solo or duet games. So maybe a scale for the number of players would be useful. Because there are a lot of gmless solo games. But of course, space for filters is limited. It is only a Suggestion
Hi Rike - thanks for the suggestion! I can see the use case, particularly for finding GM-less games that aren’t solo or duet.
That being said, I feel like we probably won’t add specific player counts. Once you get beyond 2 players, the exact number isn’t usually a particularly meaningful constraint for TTRPGs, and most games can accommodate a range of group sizes. Many creators would also be hesitant to give exact player number counts as many games could handle a dyanmic number that depends on how the players are interacting with the game.
However, we already have Solo, Duet, Small group, and Large group as labels in the Playstyle taxonomy, which should cover those distinctions fairly well - they allow for defining the general player count sizes, without being prescriptive. For your needs, you could filter products to the Small group label, which should give you the kind of games you’re looking for.
