The date picker widget doesn’t visually distinguish well between dates in the current month vs in the last/next months. The text’s very slightly lighter, but can probably be quite a bit lighter without losing too much contrast against the background.
Also, clicking through months with the arrow buttons can be a little jarring because they don’t all have the same number of rows of dates, so the controls at the top jump up and down as you go from a month with 5 rows to 6 or vice versa. I don’t know whether you developed the widget yourself or you’re using a third-party one, so I don’t know how easy it is to change how it works, but it’d be smoother if it always padded to 6 rows.
We use a third-party library for this, but it’s easily customisable, so we’ll update this here to improve the experience. I’ll circle back here once the fixes are live.
Days for the non-current month are lighter, so it’s obvious they aren’t part of the month you’re looking at.
For months with fewer than 6 rows of dates, we’ve added either one or two empty rows beneath them, so clicking through months using the arrows will maintain the same box height as you navigate.
If you refresh the page, you’ll see the updates.
