# Choosing site-wide promotion settings

The platform sometimes runs **site-wide** sales or coupons. You choose whether your catalog may be included.

## Open Promotions

- Go to **Dashboard** then **Promotions**.

- Find the **Site-wide promotions** section.

## Set your preferences

- **Include my products in site-wide sales** : leave checked to allow your catalog in those events, or clear it to opt out.

- **Include my products in site-wide coupons** : same idea for coupon-based campaigns.

- Save when the page shows a save action. Wait for a success toast.

## How this differs from your own sales

- Your **Sales & coupons** section is fully under your control. See [Running sales and coupons](https://support.rpgtrader.com/t/running-sales-and-coupons/17/1).

- Site-wide blocks only affect platform-run programs that respect these flags.
